This beginner-friendly workshop will teach you how to grow simple, useful herbs like mint, chamomile, lavender, calendula, and basil. Whether you have a backyard or just a sunny kitchen window, you’ll learn how to keep these herbs thriving and how to turn them into calming teas, soothing oils, and simple salves. You’ll leave with your own homemade salve, a starter herb plant, and the know-how to start your own mini herb garden.
When: We’ll schedule when 10 people pre-register!
Where: Bend/Sisters
Price: $50 (+ $20 for supplies)
Pre-register for the next session of this workshop. No charge! You will be charged once we get at least 10 pre-registrants and you agree to the date of the workshop. You'll be first in line and we'll work with you on the date.
Learn which beginner-friendly herbs are the easiest to grow, how to care for them, and the traditional ways they’ve been used for everyday wellness. Think of it as stocking your kitchen with fresh, homegrown remedies.
We’ll get our hands dirty (in the best way) with transplanting and cuttings. You’ll make your own tea and a soothing salve using locally grown herbs—and you’ll take both home!
Nothing makes you hungry like growing herbs! Bring a dish (bonus points if it includes an herb) and bond with your like-minded neighbors! We bring the main, you bring the rest! At School of Ranch, our product is education but our purpose is community building. We create common ground for people regardless of politics, age, background, or belief.
