Tired of wrestling with your horse before the farrier even gets out of the truck? Learn how to turn stress into cooperation using Horse Speak, a body-based communication method that helps your horse feel safe and heard. This workshop zeroes in on those all-too-common care scenarios—like hoof trims and vet checks—and gives you tools to navigate them with ease and empathy.
When: We'll schedule when 10 people pre-register!
Where: HeartSpace Horse Sanctuary, 3867 Northwest Way, Redmond
Price: $40 + $5 facility fee
Pre-register for the next session of this workshop. No charge! You will be charged once we get at least 10 pre-registrants and you agree to the date of the workshop. You'll be first in line and we'll work with you on the date.
Get to know the subtle signs your horse is sending. You'll learn to spot early indicators of stress or resistance during handling—so you can adjust your approach before things escalate.
Through live demos and collaborative discussion, you'll gain practical strategies to handle vet and farrier challenges with calm, clear communication. We’ll focus on what actually works—no gimmicks, no drama.
Leave with a personalized prep routine you can use before your next vet or farrier visit, all grounded in Horse Speak principles and tailored to your horse’s unique needs.
Lucinda brings decades of hands-on experience and scientific insight to her work with horses. Both a teacher and a researcher, she blends equine ethology, neuroscience, and learning theory into a framework she calls "The Equine Mandala"—a practical guide to how horses think, feel, learn, and communicate. Her training philosophy centers on positive reinforcement and compassion, never dominance or fear.
Lucinda B helps horse owners develop a deeper, more effective connection with their horses through knowledge, trust, and clear communication. Learn more at lucindab.com.
