Toxic plants are sneaky—and they can be deadly. This hands-on workshop is all about giving you the confidence to walk your pastures and know exactly what's growing there, what’s harmful, and how to handle it. We'll cover how toxic plants affect different types of livestock, when they're most dangerous, and smart management strategies to keep your animals safe.
When: We'll schedule when 15 people pre-register!
Where: Bend/Redmond
Ticket Price: Contribute-What-You-Can

Pre-registration is free; we only charge your credit card when we're ready to schedule (and you say ok). When 15 people pre-register, we'll set up the next workshop with your input on dates!

Learn to identify the usual suspects when it comes to pasture toxicity. You'll get practical, visual tips to spot dangerous plants and understand how they affect horses, cattle, goats, sheep, and more.

Seasonal shifts and certain pasture conditions can turn harmless-looking plants into real threats. We’ll break down when toxicity spikes and what you can do to reduce risk through good management practices.

Nothing says community like a potluck. Breaking bread while building bridges, so to speak. This workshop will include a potluck, a chance to talk about what you are learning, share experiences, and get to know one another. We'll supply the main protein. Please bring something along to share with your neighbors!
