Ever wanted to try stained glass but weren’t sure where to start? This hands-on hybrid workshop walks you through everything you need to build your own glass terrarium—from the first satisfying snick of a good glass cut to planting a tiny living world inside. You’ll learn to cut, foil, and solder glass like a pro, then assemble a sturdy geometric terrarium and bring it to life with soil, stone, and succulent.
When: We'll schedule when 5 people pre-register.
Location: Bend/Redmond/Sisters
Price: $110 + $35 Take Home Kit
Pre-register for the next session of this workshop. No charge! You will be charged once we get at least 5 pre-registrants and you agree to the date of the workshop. You'll be first in line and we'll work with you on the date.
You’ll practice cutting, foiling, and soldering techniques step-by-step with live guidance and lots of time to troubleshoot and ask questions. You’ll leave with solid foundational skills in stained glass work—and a healthy respect for flux.
Glass by glass, you’ll assemble your own polygonal terrarium. We’ll walk through tricky corners, sealing seams, and common alignment fixes so your final piece is structurally solid and easy on the eyes.
Finish the workshop by planting your tiny garden oasis. You’ll take home your completed terrarium plus a kit to keep practicing at home—including tools for cutting and soldering glass.
