In this hands-on workshop, you’ll dig into climate-smart seed selection, prep the perfect soil, and create ideal conditions to bring your garden to life. Whether you're working with trays on a windowsill or dreaming of a thriving outdoor bed, we’ve got you covered.

Amy Sidran has a serious green thumb and a science brain to match. With degrees in wildlife biology, teaching, and agriculture, she’s taught everywhere from Oregon to the Dominican Republic and even built a student-led urban farm. Now based in Bend, she’s passionate about hands-on learning and helping folks feel confident growing their own food in challenging climates.
