Laminitis can sneak up on even the most attentive horse owners—but it doesn’t have to. This hands-on workshop is all about prevention. Learn what causes pasture-associated laminitis, how to spot early warning signs, and what you can do today to protect your horses from painful flare-ups tomorrow. Whether you’re managing one horse or a whole herd, this class will help you make safer, smarter grazing decisions with confidence.
When: We'll schedule when 15 people pre-register!
Where: Bend/Redmond
Ticket Price: Contribute-What-You-Can

Pre-registration is free; we only charge your credit card when we're ready to schedule (and you say ok). When 15 people pre-register, we'll set up the next workshop with your input on dates!

Pasture might look peaceful, but for at-risk horses, it can be a landmine. Learn how nutrition, weather patterns, and grass growth affect laminitis risk—so you can act before problems arise. We’ll cover the science in a way that actually makes sense.

Not sure what laminitis looks like until it's too late? We'll help you recognize early warning signs and identify horses that need extra care. You’ll leave with the knowledge to make informed decisions—and a plan for working with your vet, not just reacting to emergencies.

Nothing says community like a potluck. Breaking bread while building bridges, so to speak. This workshop will include a potluck, a chance to talk about what you are learning, share experiences, and get to know one another. We'll supply the main protein. Please bring something along to share with your neighbors!
