Bring your holiday cheer and a pair of clippers—we're making wreaths the old-fashioned way: with fresh evergreens, wired bases, and a big dose of seasonal flair. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to select, prep, and arrange your greenery, pinecones, berries, and ribbons to create a wreath that’s all you. Once we’ve finished crafting, we’ll celebrate with a good old-fashioned potluck.

Learn how to handle a wire wreath form without stabbing yourself—or your neighbor. We’ll show you how to securely attach greenery and build a base that’s lush, balanced, and built to last.

Bring your personality into the process as you choose accents and arrange materials to reflect your aesthetic—whether that’s woodsy minimalist, full-on glam, or rustic-funky grandma.

Nothing says community like a potluck. Breaking bread while building bridges, so to speak. This workshop will include a potluck, a chance to talk about what you are learning, share experiences, and get to know one another. We'll supply the main protein. Please bring something along to share with your neighbors!
Amy has a serious green thumb and a science brain to match. With degrees in wildlife biology, teaching, and agriculture, she’s taught everywhere from Oregon to the Dominican Republic and even built a student-led urban farm. Now based in Bend, she’s passionate about hands-on learning and helping folks feel confident growing their own food—and decor—in challenging climates.

We’re proud to team up with Take Root Edible Garden Design, an organization that helps people grow their own food and design landscapes where pollinators thrive and nourishment abounds. Their mission aligns beautifully with ours: educate, empower, and enjoy.
