FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

question mark ballon

What should I wear?

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting smoky or messy. Closed-toe shoes required—this is a hands-on, hot-coals kind of day.

What should I bring?

We provide all ingredients and tools—except one thing: Everyone must bring an empty tuna can (cleaned and label removed). Bring a second one if you’re feeling ambitious!

Can kids join?

Yes—kids 5th grade and up are welcome, but every child must have their own ticket and be able to participate safely and independently.

Will we eat during the workshop?

Yes! You’ll cook your own meal in teams, and drinks will be available for purchase from Sisters Depot.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Here’s the menu: Beef and veggie stew, corn and potato foil packs, green salad, parmesan herb biscuits (baked in a box oven), and Dutch oven apple crisp. We can’t change the recipes, but the techniques work for all kinds of foods.
