Healing Hands: Everyday Bodywork for Your Horse

Deepen Your Bond, One Touch at a Time

 Your horse tells you more than you think—if you know how to listen. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn simple yet powerful bodywork techniques to support your horse’s physical comfort and emotional well-being. Led by Josh and Victoria Williams, this beginner-friendly class covers practical assessment tools, nervous system coregulation practices, and a 10-minute routine you can easily integrate into daily grooming. 

 When: We’ll schedule this workshop again when we get at least 4 pre-registrants. 

Where: Bend/Redmond

Price: $125 + $15 Facility Fee

 Horses are incredibly attuned to our energy. By practicing nervous system coregulation techniques, you’ll discover how to deepen your bond with your horse, fostering a greater sense of trust and partnership. 

WORKSHOP LEADER

Josh and Victoria Williams

Josh and Victoria believe horses unlock joy, connection, and healing. Together, they offer 50+ years of expertise in horsemanship, bodywork, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Victoria has trained and ridden champion horses and brings extensive experience in horsemanship instruction and equine therapy. She is completing a Masters in Social Work in June  2025. Josh is a doctoral candidate in Occupational Therapy with a BS in Exercise Science. With 25+ years as an authorized meditation teacher in the Sant Mat lineage, licensed massage therapist credentials, and research experience in biomechanics and exercise science, he uniquely blends mindfulness with equine-assisted healing.  Follow their work on https://myhorsejourney.substack.com/

What should I wear?

 Wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothes. 

What should I bring?

Bring a camp chair, notebook, pen, water bottle and snack. 

Will we be working with our own horses?

 No, demo horses will be provided for the hands-on portion. 

Can minors attend?

Teens may attend with an accompanying adult, and they must have their own ticket.
