Healing Hands: Everyday Bodywork for Your Horse

Deepen Your Bond, One Touch at a Time

 Your horse tells you more than you think—if you know how to listen. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn simple yet powerful bodywork techniques to support your horse’s physical comfort and emotional well-being. Led by Josh and Victoria Williams, this beginner-friendly class covers practical assessment tools, nervous system coregulation practices, and a 10-minute routine you can easily integrate into daily grooming. 

When: May 13th, 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Price: $125 + $20 facility fee

 Horses are incredibly attuned to our energy. By practicing nervous system coregulation techniques, you’ll discover how to deepen your bond with your horse, fostering a greater sense of trust and partnership. 

WORKSHOP LEADER

Josh and Victoria Williams

Josh and Victoria believe horses unlock joy, connection, and healing. Together, they offer 50+ years of expertise in horsemanship, bodywork, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Victoria has trained and ridden champion horses and brings extensive experience in horsemanship instruction and equine therapy—including an apprenticeship with a world champion reined/cow horse program. Josh is a doctoral candidate in Occupational Therapy with a BS in Exercise Science. With over 25 years as an authorized meditation teacher in the Sant Mat lineage, licensed massage therapist credentials, and research experience in biomechanics and exercise science, he uniquely blends mindfulness with equine-assisted healing.

Rooted in a deep respect for the horse-human relationship, our approach blends neuroscience, biomechanics, and mindfulness with proven session structures—ensuring both clients and horses experience true partnership and transformation. Led by Victoria and Josh, lifelong equestrians and dedicated educators, we provide practical tools, training, and mentorship to help professionals confidently integrate horses into their healing work.

What should I wear?

 Wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothes. 

What should I bring?

 Bring a notebook and pen. A water bottle and a snack are also recommended. 

Will we be working with our own horses?

 No, demo horses will be provided for the hands-on portion. 

Can minors attend?

 Participants must be 16 or older.
